Charitable Donations

Charitable Contributions - Southside DojoSouthside Dojo is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and can thus accept charitable contributions as a non-profit.  Such contributions may be tax-deductible.  Additionally, we can always use non-monetary help with materials, dojo maintenance, and labor to help maintain and improve the dojo.

Direct Donations
Direct donations may be made by check, cash, or Paypal donation to the dojo.  Please make sure to get a receipt from the instructor if donating in person and designate the payment as a charitable donation if donating online.

United Way Charitable Donations
Did you know that Southside Dojo is a federal non profit?  Donating to support Southside Dojo is easier than you think.

If your employer participates with The United Way you should be able to ask your human resources dept. or United Way coordinator for a "Designation" form.  At the bottom of this form is an area to indicate a specific 501(c)3 non-profit.  The only info you need is the name of the non-profit (for example, Southside Dojo) and their address and/or phone number.

Southside Dojo Ltd Inc.
8534 Portage Road
Portage, MI 49002
(269) 385-0111

Then your pledged donation will come directly out of your check and be routed to your specified non-profit organization (for example, Southside Dojo).

A small bi-weekly contribution of $5.00 works out to a yearly contribution of $130.00 to your favorite non-profit ....like Southside Dojo.
