Eric Vandewalker(L) and Josh Yoder(R) earn their 1st kyu ranks in Kobudo and Karate, respectively.  Eric will test for Shodan (1st degree black belt) in Karate and Josh will test for Shodan in Kobudo in October.

For those interested we will be meeting at the dojo on Saturday the 12th at 6:45 AM and leaving at 7AM for the judo tournament in Grand Rapids. There will still be class at the dojo on that day, Mike and Andy Snyder will be instructing. Thanks,Joe

Southside Dojo's Guerilla MMA Fight Team members Clay Belka (155 lbs) and Dave Havice (135 lbs) will square up in the cage this Saturday August 29, 2009 at the King of the Cage event held in the Leelenau Sands Casino in Grand Traverse Michigan.  Dave puts his 6-0 record on the line against Dan Severn fighter Ronnie Carr, and Clay is looking to make his record 6-1 with a win against a very game 3-3 fighter in James Carrow (GRBJJ Academy).
